POLICE arrested a suspected drug driver they allege was "smoking heroin" by the M62.
Officers from Merseyside's Roads Policing Unit stopped to check on a driver after they spotted a stationary car, off the M62, near to Rainhill.
Police allege that the driver, a man, was "in the process of smoking heroin".

Officers also conducted a roadside drugs test and allege there was a positive result for cocaine.
A police spokesman said drugs were seized and the suspect was taken into custody.
