A POLICE presence is in place outside a property after the execution of a drugs warrant.
Residents have reported seeing police vehicles outside an address on Fisher Street, in Sutton, near to the junction with Edgeworth Street since Thursday last week (April 25).
Police vans and cars have been seen in the area. Nearby residents have also reported seeing forensic teams at the location.
When the Star contacted Merseyside Police to ask about this, a spokesman said it referred to an investigation by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU).

A NWROCU spokeswoman confirmed that they were at the scene at the address, and at another property in Liverpool following "drugs warrants".
No details of any seizures have yet been disclosed and the spokeswoman said on Monday that searches remain "ongoing".
No arrests have been made at this stage, she added.
The NWROCU spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that officers are currently at scene at two addresses in Liverpool and St Helens following drugs warrants carried out by officers from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit on April 25.
"Searches are ongoing."
