A MAN has been charged with theft and robbery as part of an ongoing investigation into business crime.
Detectives have charged Mark Newcombe, 33, of Kendal Drive, Carr Mill after his arrest yesterday, Wednesday, April 25.
He's been charged with theft from Tesco Express in Bowness Avenue on Monday, April 22 and robbery and theft at Tesco Express in Bowness Avenue, Clinkham Wood on Tuesday, April 23.
In each offence, large quantities of food or drinks were reportedly stolen.
Newcombe will appear this morning, Thursday 25 April, at Wirral Adult Remand Court.
