A SERVICE will be held for International Workers Memorial Day in St Helens this Sunday, April 28.
An open air service of remembrance and wreath laying ceremony will be held at the Workers' Memorial statue in Vera Page Park. to commemorate the men, women and children who have lost their lives because of their jobs.
The service will be led by the vicar of Parish Church Reverend Rachel Shuttleworth and will start at 11am.

Haydock Band will be performing for the service.
Speakers at the service will be MP Marie Rimmer CBE; David Baines leader of St Helens Council, and Councillor Richard McCauley.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
