POLICE said they received a report of a man being in the back garden of a property.
Officers said it was reported the suspect was seen on camera and then left before returning a short time later.
The man was seen in the garden at an address on Clarence Street, Newton-le-Willows, between 9.10pm and 9.50pm on the night of Monday, April 15.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We had a report that a male had been seen on camera in the back garden of a property In Clarence Street between 9.10pm and 9.50pm on Monday.
"He left then returned a short time later. Officers attended the property and checked camera footage but it does not appear the man made any attempts to enter the property."
