POLICE are hunting a burglar after a Land Rover was stolen from a driveway.
Officers have issued an appeal after the break-in happened at a property on Birchfield Street, in Thatto Heath, in the early hours of Thursday, April 11.
It is understood the offender was disturbed by dogs in the property and ran off with car keys and drove off in the owner’s Land Rover.
The owner said the vehicle was found having been crashed nearby on Harlow Close.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We are appealing for information following a reported burglary in St Helens in the early hours of this morning, Thursday, April 11.
"At around 2am, it was reported that a home on Birchfield Street had been broken into and a black Land Rover was stolen from the driveway.
"Inquiries are ongoing and if you have any information, please get in touch @MerPolCC or call 101, quoting reference number 24000330535."
