ST HELENS' Gala Fest will return this summer for a "day of non-stop fun" following the success of last year.
Taking place at Ruskin Sports Village, last year's inaugural Gala was an event that was three years in the making to bring the community of St Helens together for a highlight on the summer calendar.
Described as the "ultimate family extravaganza", the Gala will open with a vibrant mix of stalls from local independents and charities, while attractions like inflatable arenas, classic cars showcases, animal and pet displays, and movie heroes will also be on offer.

Scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 25, the Gala will also host the annual Barton's Pickles Celebrity Bowls competition, where 16 celebrities from the world of showbiz and rugby league will battle it out for the prestigious Lol Pennington Memorial Cup.
Entry to the Gala is free but as the sun sets, people can move onto the ticketed family-friendly music festival, complete with tribute acts of some of the biggest names in music.
From 2pm, this will feature the emotive sounds of Dan Carney’s 'Lewish Capaldi' tribute and followed by 'Do It Like Dua', A tribute act of this year's Glastonbury headliner Dua Lipa.
The 'Arctic Monkeyz' will then delight crowds with the Sheffield band's collection of indie classics, and the 'Gerry Cinnamon Experience'
and 'Kazabian' will similarly look to get people up and on their feet.
Finally, the summer Gala will end with 'Take That Live', who will perform a celebration of pop perfection.
Throughout the day, there will also be food and drinks on offer from bars and independent vendors.
Charity stalls are available on a first sign-up basis and each charity will receive two free entry tickets into the music festival. Independent stalls can be purchased at £25 and are available by clicking this link.
Early Bird Tickets are available for £18 and early bird family tickets of are priced at £50. VIP Tickets in the Marquee are £45 and Gazebo plots are £100.
