A MAN crashed his car into a wall before reportedly testing positive for alcohol and drug use.
The collision is reported to have taken place on Brynn Street just outside of St Helens town centre, at around 4pm on Friday, March 29.
Merseyside Police's Roads Policing Unit reported the incident on social media, which shows significant damage caused to the red Volkswagen.

Officers reported that the driver's "extremely intoxicated" and "disgraceful behaviour" came before he blew over four times the legal limit for alcohol.
The driver is also reported to have tested positive for cocaine and cannabis in a roadside drugs swipe.
Following the incident, a Merseyside Police spokesperson has confirmed that a 34 year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
