LUCKY residents in Ashton-in-Makerfield have scooped a £1,000 prize in the People's Postcode Lottery today.
Those living in the WN4 8TN in the area of Bolton Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, all won £1,000 on Thursday, March 21, if they were signed up to the Postcode Lottery.
The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery that aims to raise money for charities while also bringing cash prizes to homes across the UK.

Prizes are announced every day of the month – with £30,000 jackpots and £1,000 prizes for 20 different postcodes every day.
Players can sign up with their postcode and pay £12 per month with a chance to win when they are automatically entered into a draw.
A minimum of 33 per cent from each ticket goes to charity and players have raised more than £950 million for more than 9,000 charities and good causes since 2005.
