SIX youths have been arrested after more than a dozen police vehicles were seen in Parr in the early hours.
A resident contacted the Star after a large police presence was seen along Newton Road between 1:30 and 3am on Thursday, March 14.
Merseyside Police has said that the Force was called to the area after a vehicle was allegedly stolen from a property in Ashton-in-Makerfield, with Greater Manchester police also involved in the investigation.

A spokesperson for the Force said that six young people were arrested following the incident, with a police presence also logged along Pennington Lane and Mersey Street in Parr.
The spokesperson said that the incident allegedly involved three boys and three girls, who were arrested on suspicion of theft and burglary offences and taken to police custody for further questioning.
