TWO cars were involved in a crash on Sunday morning when the second collision in as many days happened at a busy junction.
The incident involving a Vauxhall Astra and a Polestar car happened at Windle Island - the junction of the Rainford Bypass and the East Lancs - yesterday.
Police were called at 8am to the scene and say both drivers stopped at scene.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said one person is believed to have suffered a slight injury, although the information released was limited.
It was the second crash to take place at Windle Island over the weekend.
On Saturday morning, the Star reported there had been collision at 6.30am involving two vehicles.
The road was partially blocked before being reopened later in the morning.
