A MAN accused of murdering his wife will face a trial after he denied the offence in court today.
Stuart Robertson appeared via video link at Liverpool Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation this morning, Friday, March 8.
Dawn Robertson was found unresponsive inside a house in Cannon Street in Clock Face on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15, last year.
Paramedics attended but the 62-year-old's death was confirmed.

Stuart Robertson, 68, of the same address, was charged with the murder of Mrs Robertson.
During a previous court hearing last November, judge Andrew Menary KC said that the "allegation is this defendant violently killed his wife by strangling her”.
Meanwhile, in February, Robertson issued a guilty plea to a count of manslaughter.
The 68-year-old issued a not guilty plea to a murder charge as he appeared back at the court today.
A trial has been scheduled to start from Monday, May 13, a spokesman for Liverpool Crown Court confirmed to the Star.
Robertson was remanded back into custody.
A further case management hearing has been scheduled for April 25.
