PLANS have been drawn up seeking permission to create a phone mast at a railway station.
Proposals seek prior approval from St Helens Council for a 20m lattice tower at Newton-le-Willows railway station.
Plans also include for three antennas, a dish, and three cabinets, located within a compound measuring 9m x 9m and associated ancillary works.

The application has been submitted by Cornerstone, described as a "leading mobile infrastructure services company" that "acquire, manage and own over 20,000 sites and are committed to enabling best in class mobile connectivity for over half of all the country's mobile customers".
Cornerstone "oversee works on behalf of telecommunications providers", plans add.
Plans are on standard consultation until Monday, March 18. A decision is expected by April 14.
