TWO men have been charged by police in connection with a serious crash on the East Lancashire Road in which two people were injured.
Police have confirmed that two suspects have been charged following the serious road traffic collision, which happened on the East Lancs, near Houghtons Lane, Eccleston, on Boxing Day in 2022.
It was reported on Monday, December 26, 2022, at around 6.15pm that a grey Fiat Punto, a grey Honda Civic and black BMW 435, were involved in a crash that resulted in two people suffering serious injuries.

A woman suffered serious injuries to both her legs and ribs, while a man suffered rib injuries. They both received treatment in hospital and were later discharged.
Christopher Heyes, 29, of Hewitt Avenue, Old Eccleston, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Meanwhile, Darren Winstanley, 38, of Fleet Lane, Parr, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
Both men are due to appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court today, Friday, February 23.
