A FURTHER 164 homes are set to be built on a new development at Park Grange development in Thatto Heath.

Linden Homes and Torus have launched a collection of two, three and four bedroom homes, 81 homes will be available for open-market sale via Linden Homes, part of Vistry Group, and a further 83 homes will be built for shared ownership, through affordable housing provider, Torus Homes.

Located on the southwest edge of St Helens, the new development features a mix of terraced, semi-detached and detached homes.

The developer made to ensure Thatto Heath’s Christmas display could go ahead last year, and Linden Homes is committed to investing over £200,000 in the local area over the next three years.

Gemma Hardy, Managing Director, Vistry Merseyside and Cheshire West, said: “Thatto Heath is a particularly exciting development and we look forward to delivering these much-needed energy efficient new homes.

“The development will feature a variety of properties, designed specifically for modern life, and our partnership with Torus will give customers the flexibility for customers to either buy outright, or buy under shared ownership.

“With Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ schools close by, the local community already has plenty to offer, but we plan to build upon that and use our presence to create a lasting local impact.”

A key local investor, Torus is currently building over 360 new homes in St Helens alone, Park Grange is the Groups largest scheme on site.

Jeanette Grady, Director of Sales at Torus Homes, said: “St Helens is somewhere Torus has called home for decades and to be able to continue investing in the creation of even more modern, affordable homes at Park Grange is something we’re incredibly proud of.

“As a Group, Torus is committed to creating real opportunities for people to get onto and along the property ladder in a way that suits their personal situation and is sustainable, long term, so to be bringing a further 83 affordable homes to St Helens is fantastic.

“Working with partners, such as Vistry, is key to building great homes in thriving communities people want to live in and I know Park Grange will be a happy home for many families in the near future and I for one, can’t wait to see people move in.”

Linden Homes has a range of schemes to help prospective buyers sell their existing properties, including Assisted Move and Smooth Move.

The new homes are being sold from the sales office at Linden Homes’ Hatters Chase development in Sandymoor, Runcorn, WA7 1XB, with prices starting from £209,995.
