A MAN and a woman who were arrested after a man was found injured in a street in Prescot have been bailed while a police inquiry continues.
As the Star reported, a man in his 40s, was found in the street with injuries on Kingsway, Prescot at around 8.40pm last Thursday evening, February 1.
Police said he sustained an injury to his head and leg and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Two people were arrested following the incident.

A 49-year-old man, from Prescot, was arrested on suspicion of wounding. Meanwhile, a 39-year-old woman, also from Prescot, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a controlled Class A drug, crack cocaine.
They were taken to police custody to be questioned.
When asked for an update, a Merseyside Police spokesman said today that both suspects have been released on police bail for further inquiries.
