NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of St Helens establishments.
The Food Standards Agency’s website shows eight venues have been awarded a five - the highest possible rating.
These are:
• McDonald's on Church Street, St Helens; rated on January 25
• Poundbakery on Church Street, St Helens; rated on January 25
• Holy Trinity at Holy Trinity C Of E Church, Traverse Street, St Helens; rated on January 24
• St Mark's Centre at St Marks Church Centre, Park Street, Haydock; rated on January 24
• McDonald's on Chalon Way West, St Helens; rated on January 17
• Chalkeys at Chalkeys Greenalls Sports And Social Club, 42 Alder Hey Road, Eccleston; rated on January 15
• Chi Chi's Soft Play and Cafe at Central Street, St Helens; rated on January 12
• British Raj Express Cambridge Road, St Helens; rated on January 17
