A CAR dealers has submitted plans to renovate its premises.
A planning application has been submitted for the family-run Middlehurst Nissan Dealers, based on Jackson Street, in Fingerpost.
The plans have been submitted by Andy Middlehurst to council planners.
The proposed works include a single-storey front and side extension.
A description of the proposed works states they include the refurbishment of the existing workshop into a car sales showroom.
There will be the addition of a pre-fabricated service reception, adjacent to the existing workshop.
An external store adjacent to the existing workshop will be created.

Plans also include the re-laying of an existing yard and replacement of existing Palisade fencing with paladin fencing.
Part of the planning application is retrospective, with work having already started.
Middlehurst Garage had been trading for more than 60 years in the town since it was established in 1957 by Andy's grandad Jack.
The planning application is on standard consultation to the public until Friday, February 9.
A decision is expected by council planners by March 15.
