A MAN charged with ABH after an alleged "domestic incident" has made a first appearance in court.
Paul Hickey, of Wargrave Road, Newton-le-Willows, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH).
Police confirmed they have charged the suspect following a reported "domestic incident" in Newton-le-Willows on Sunday, January 21.

Hickey, 41, appeared before district judge Wendy Lloyd at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 23.
At the hearing, the case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court.
The 41-year-old was remanded in custody until the next scheduled hearing at the higher court on Tuesday, February 20.
