THE number one rated eatery in St Helens according to Tripadvisor has thanked a young fan who left them a heart-warming and lovely card was a review for their food.

Opened by Sutton High school friends Chris Heyes, Anthony Georgiou, and Scott Anderson, Vigour began life as a Health Kitchen-come-Juice Bar on Bridge Street in 2017.

Shifting into a "casual dining" bar with an expanded menu and small plate focus, Vigour has become the number-one-rated restaurant in St Helens on Trip Advisor, with hundreds of customers leaving positive reviews.

However, despite this, the three schoolfriends clearly have the community at their hearts, as a young fan called 'Arthur' left a card with a review for the eatery and they took to social media to thank him. 

They said: "Being No.1 on Tripadvisor is cool, winning multiple awards is cool and even receiving 1000’s of 5* reviews is also cool, but you know what is cooler?

"You can’t beat a review like this, this will hang proudly in our restaurant and it will be a daily reminder of what it’s all really about.

"So, big up Arthur for taking the time to create this masterpiece, we really appreciate it and you’ve just earned yourself a free dessert on your next visit.

"Thanks again for the support!"
