POLICE said they attended a primary school after reports of "illegal parking" during its opening and closing times.
Officers attended St Julie's Catholic Primary School in Brooklands Road, Eccleston on Thursday morning, January 18.

The Star has reported numerous times over recent months and years, after police have issued warnings to drivers over parking issues near to schools in St Helens.
Incorrect parking near schools has been an issue that has hit headlines nationally, and last year experts urged parents to ensure they are not left in the dark about school parking laws.
In a statement on Thursday, police in St Helens said: "This morning, Team 1 officers attended at St Julie's Catholic Primary following reports of illegal parking during the school opening and closing hours.
"Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, the officers welcomed parents and children this morning.
"Please park considerately."
