EMERGENCY services were called after a crash involving two cars on Saturday afternoon.
A silver Nissan Micra and black Vauxhall Astra were involved in the collision at the junction of St John Street and Sankey Street, Earlestown at around 2.40pm.
Police said one of the parties involved suffered a "slight" injury.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a collision involving two cars, a silver Nissan Micra and black Vauxhall Astra, at the junction of St John Street and Sankey Street, Earlestown at around 2.40pm on Saturday, January 13.
"A slight injury was reported."
