A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of drug driving in Whiston.
The arrest was made as part of efforts by Knowsley's Neighbourhood Team and Matrix Roads Policing to keep the roads safe.
Officers stopped a 30-year-old woman in Whiston. Police say that she was given a drugs test and arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
The arrest was one of three police in Knowsley made across the borough in relation to drug driving, with an e-bike and off-road motorbike also seized.

In a statement this morning outlining details about the arrests, which were all made over the past 24 hours, police said: "Whilst patrolling Huyton yesterday morning, officers witnessed the mini-motorbike being ridden by a 30-year-old man can causing a nuisance in the area. He was arrested (on suspicion of) drug driving, possession of a controlled drug, driving without insurance or a licence and breaching a harassment order.
"The e-bike was seized by officers patrolling #Kirkby. A 48 year old man was arrested (on suspicion of) numerous offences, including drug driving.
"A further drug driving arrest was made when officers stopped and tested a 30-year-old woman in Whiston.
"Help Merseyside Road Safety Partnership keep Knowsley's roads safe. Tell us if someone is drink or drug driving. DM Merseyside Police Contact Centre."
