A WOMAN pedestrian was injured in a hit and run in Prescot on Thursday.
The woman was involved in the collision with a car on Eccleston Street, in Prescot, shortly before 3pm on January 4.
A police spokesman said the car failed to stop at the scene and that the woman suffered "slight injuries".
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We received a report at around 2.55pm today, Thursday, January 4, of a fail to stop road collision involving a pedestrian and a car on Eccleston Street, in Prescot.
"The woman sustained slight injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
"If you witnessed this incident or have any information, call 101 or DM @MerPolCC on X (Twitter) quoting log 533 of January 4."
