POLICE seized two off road motorbikes and two offensive weapons in the last 24 hours.
The motorbikes were being ridden dangerously around Whiston and Kirkby on Wednesday, say police.
Officers pursued and seized one bike, as well as arresting a suspect in Whiston.
During that incident, a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, possession of a controlled drug, failing to stop, careless driving and driving without insurance or a licence.
The second bike was seized after officers were called to reports of a collision in Kirkby.
A 40-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, including possession of an offensive weapon. In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "As part of the relentless effort to keep the roads safe, Operation Shepherd officers seized another two off road motorbikes, two offensive weapons and made a further drug driving arrest across Knowsley in the last 24 hours.
