FANCY some fresh air and exercise after indulging over Christmas?

Tatton Park’s winter wonderland offers energising walks, fresh air and stunning scenery.

A relaxing place where you can admire the winter landscape while boosting your wellbeing enjoying a walk with friends or family.

This much-loved Cheshire beauty spot is launching special offers to give more people the chance to enjoy this 1,000 acre deer park and nature reserve.

From January 2, visitors are being offered half price parkland entry, £3.25, and free mid-week admission to the garden.

Tatton Park has 50 acres of landscaped gardens, the product of almost 300 years of cultivation.

Each generation of the Egerton family played a part in the evolution of the gardens by seeking the expertise of the leading landscape architects of the time.

As one of the most picturesque gardens in England, it shows visitors today an almost complete picture of how it would have looked in Edwardian times.

Each different area of the garden provides its own atmosphere, plant and tree varieties.

Visitors can warm up in the fernery and see tropical plants and New Zealand tree ferns.

Families can pick up a free winter scavenger hunt to inspire little ones to get hands on with nature.

The 600-strong deer herd are fed daily with carrots during the winter.

The half-price parkland entry must be bought online and is available from January 2 to February 9, from Tuesday to Friday.

Free garden entry tickets are available to book online too.
