A MOTORCYCLIST in his 20s was taken to hospital after a crash with a car.
Emergency services descended on the scene on Saturday night, shortly after 9pm, after the collision on Warrington Road, in Rainhill, at the junction with Old Lane.
A black motorbike and a black Ford car were involved in the crash.
The motorcyclist suffered a leg injury and was taken to hospital, police said.
The driver of the Ford stopped at the scene and is helping police with inquiries, a spokesman said.

The Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We were called to Warrington Road, at its junction with Old Lane, at 9.15pm on Saturday, December 16, to a report of a collision involving a black Ford car and a black motorbike
"The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, sustained a leg injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
"The driver of the car was uninjured and is helping police with inquiries."
