A FAMILY with a passion for wine aim to grow their business as a national player in the wine industry.
Launching 'The Wine Club' along Dane Court in 2018, Danielle Milnes and Rochelle Garbutt wanted to bring their passion for wine to Rainhill and offer something different in the village.
As a number of independent businesses have blossomed around Rainhill, this has encouraged more people to visit and residents to stay local in the village, which has played to the benefit of the Wine Club.
With an increase in footfall and a great response from customers, this has allowed the venue to expand into a second Dane Court unit to offer more space as well as a selection of cheese, charcuterie boards, and artisan pizzas.
Following this success, the sisters feel that it is time to grow the business even further.

Danielle said: "Things have been really positive for the Wine Club over the last few years.
"There is a really great community in Rainhill and Dane Court is absolutely bustling at times. This has allowed us to open the second shop to offer a selection of cheese, charcuterie boards, and artisan pizzas.
"We have wines imported from all over the world so people love coming in, trying our selection, and buying them as gifts, so our aim now is to grow the website and start to supply our wines nationwide."
With Christmastime a particularly busy time for the Wine Club, due to a flurry of orders and gift boxes, the business also offers a number of wine tasting events throughout the year, where the team can share their vast knowledge of wine.
These events provide a boost for the business, but it is hoped that by broadening its delivery service, this will grow the business' reputation even further and support it when things aren't as busy in Rainhill.
This will hopefully attract more attention to the Wine Club and to the village, where the sisters have recently invested further with a new bistro and function space a short distance away on Warrington Road.
