A RESIDENT at a retirement village has been left "disgusted" after her car and others vehicles were vandalised.
The "shocking" damage was inflicted on the cars at Reeve Court, off Elton Head Road, on Sunday night or Monday, December 11 this week.
One resident said they became aware of the vandalism to her car on Monday, December 11, when about to go out for a meal with a friend.
Her wing mirror had been completely smashed and twisted.

"I had come home at about 9pm on Sunday and parked my car in a parking space, it was a bad night pouring with rain," she said.
"On Monday I was going out with a friend in the afternoon and I got in the car and she said 'what's happened to your mirror?'. I said 'nothing' and she said it's hanging funny."
The victim, who is in her 70s and asked to remain anonymous, added: “I was gobsmacked, there was five or six cars they have done. All mirrors and some have had the lights smashed too.
“It’s just shocking really, it’s shocking for it to happen to anybody but to come and do it at a retirement village where we are in our 70s. You don’t want that, it’s distressing.”
A report of the vandalism has been made to the police and it is hoped that CCTV in the area can help find the culprits.
She added: “It is awful, there is no need for it, I felt dreadful all day on Monday.
“I think it is disgusting personally.”
