AN afternoon of Christmas festivities, market stalls, entertainment and rugby league will take place at Ruskin sportsground on Sunday (December 10).
There will also be 36 independent market stalls at the Dentons Green venue.
Entertainment begins from noon, with 'donkey deers', a Santa's Grotto, bouncy castle arena and Skelmersdale Brass Band.
Later in the afternoon there will be a rugby league match between a Mark Percival testimonial team and Steve Prescott Foundation Legends line-up.
Kick off is at 2pm, with entry £5 for adults and £3 for kids (3-16 years).
After match entertainment in The Wicket (3.30pm and 5.30pm) will be from singer Olivia Parr.
Among those taking part in the rugby match will be Saints coach Paul Wellens along with fellow ex-players Mike Bennett, Maurie Fa'asavalu, Matty Smith, Steve Hall and Paul Loughlin.
Saints Women's players Jodie Cunningham, Tara Jones, Channy Crowl and Emily Rudge are also due to play.
The SPF team will include the likes of Gareth Ellis, Keith Senior, Danny Brough and Gary Connolly.
The match is being staged in memory of Kevin Thompson, the amateur rugby league stalwart and supporter of the SPF, who died earlier this year.
