POLICE have been on the Prescot Bypass today as part of an operation targeting drink and drug driving in the lead-up to Christmas.
Officers were at the location on Thursday as part of Operation Limit, a Christmas drink and drug driving operation will run continuously until January 1.
Merseyside Police said today that they have made 47 drink driving and 125 drug driving arrests so far in the operation.

In a statement, officers from Merseyside's Roads Policing Unit said: "We have arrested 172 people (47 drink/125 drug) so far during Op Limit.
"Tesla demo was out today on Lower Lane and Prescot Bypass engaged in the operation.
"Despite the cold the range is holding up over 260 miles. The dual motors helping it to feel planted in the icy conditions."
