ST HELENS was featured in a question on ITV's The Chase last week.
The town was mentioned in a question on the hit television show, presented by Bradley Walsh, in an episode screened last Tuesday, November 21.
Contestant Alex, from Penarth, Wales, was asked the question as he took on Chaser Shaun Wallace 'The Dark Destroyer' after getting to £7,000 in his cash builder.

In his first question in his chase against Shaun Alex was asked 'The town of Saint Helens is known for the manufacture of what?'
The multiple choice answers were 'A Glass, B Leather, C Steel'.
Alex incorrectly plumped for Steel, with presenter Bradley Walsh admitting he didn't know the correct answer, which is of course being glass.
Chaser Shaun answered correctly.
Alex ended up being caught by Shaun to be knocked out, although the two contestants who did go through ended up winning the jackpot in the episode's 'final chase.'
Meanwhile, it is not the only time St Helens has featured in questions on the Chase.
Another question on the TV show has been 'What is the name of the home stadium of the rugby league club St Helens?'
With the correct answer the Totally Wicked Stadium, the contestant on that occasion also got it wrong, going for 'Super Cool Stadium', with 'Well Sick Stadium' the other incorrect option.
