THERE are long delays on the M6 near to Haydock Island during peak hour this evening.
The congestion is on the M6 northbound from junctions 22 to 23.
Travel time is around 35 minutes.

Live traffic tracker INRIX states as of 5.45pm: "Long delays on M6 Northbound from J22 A49 Winwick Link Road (Newton Le Willows) to J23 A580 East Lancashire Road (Haydock).
