A ROAD was closed on Saturday evening following a crash between two vehicles.

The collision happened on Rainhill Road, at around 8.20pm on Saturday, November 18.

Police put a road closure in place while emergency services attended the incident.

There were no injuries suffered in the crash, a police spokesman said.

When asked about the incident, the Merseyside Police spokesman said: "It was a damage only collision involving two vehicles on Ranhill Road, reported to us at around 8.20pm.

"The road was partially blocked by one of the vehicles, so a road closure was put in place but it was shortly lifted."
