A MAN and a woman who were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing after a police raid on a property have been bailed.

Officers executed a warrant at an address in Prescot on Friday, November 10.

Counterfeit cash, a scrambler bike and a large amount of drugs were found.

A 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis) and possession of counterfeit money/cash.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis)

Both suspects have since been bailed pending further inquiries, a police spokeswoman said.

In a statement following the arrests, Merseyside Police said: "The Knowsley Neighbourhood Team executed another warrant in Prescot yesterday (Friday) and arrested two people.

"Officers attended an address in Prescot where they arrested a 31-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman.

"Counterfeit currency, a scrambler bike, significant quantities of drugs and evidence of drug dealing were seized."
