A PARTIALLY demolished former music store in St Helens town centre has been listed for auction.
The site, which was once the Peter Darwin music store, is located at 19-21 George Street, in the George Street Quarter, is being advertised as a development site.
It has planning permission to be converted to a restaurant and bar, which was granted in October 2020.
The building, which is close to St Helens town centre, has a guide price of between £75,000 and £100,000 and is listed on the Auction House North West, Commercial, with offers being taken over November 15 and 16.
The listing states: "May suit variety of uses. Part demolished town centre property ripe for development formerly a music shop with uppers and benefitting from planning permission granted by St Helens Council in October 2020 for change of use of vacant music shop to mixed use restaurant and bar venue, with rear extension and re-modelling works.
"The property may also suit development for other uses including residential, subject to the required consents being obtained."
The George Street area is home to a number of restaurants and bars, including The Little George Quarter, the George, Ba'bursi, La Casa Vieja and the Green Olive.
