EMERGENCY services were called after a woman pedestrian was involved in a collision with a bus.
Police and ambulance rushed to the scene on Vista Road, Newton-le-Willows, on Saturday morning at around 11.30am.
Police said a 23-year-old woman pedestrian was involved in a collision with a bus.
The bus driver stopped at the scene.
Residents also reported seeing an air ambulance land on grass at nearby Heather Brae, however the woman did not require hospital treatment.

A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "We received a report at around 11.35am on Saturday of a collision involving a bus and a female pedestrian on Vista Road.
"The driver of the bus stopped at the scene. There are no reports of any serious injuries."
Meanwhile, a North West Ambulance spokesman added: "We received calls to report of an incident involving a pedestrian and a bus at 11.25am on November 11 on Vista Road.
"We sent an ambulance and RRV (Rapid Response Vehicle)."
He added that the woman was not taken to hospital and was "safely treated at the scene."
