ST Helens veterans and service personnel can travel for free this Sunday to attend Remembrance Sunday events.
Arriva buses and Northern are offering free travel to serving military personnel and veterans attending local Remembrance Sunday events on Sunday, November 12.
Arriva North West will be offering free travel on its buses for serving armed forces personnel both regular and reservists, veterans and cadets. When boarding show the driver your ID card or veteran’s badge.
Military personnel and veterans attending services of remembrance can also travel to and from the events by train for free. The offer will benefit people travelling to and from services anywhere in Britain.
Northern is offering complimentary travel across the entire network for service personnel travelling to Remembrance Sunday services.
Those wearing an armed forces uniform and carrying a military ID card, as well as cadets in uniform and veterans who display valid identification (such as the Ministry of Defence issued Veteran's Badge) will be entitled to free travel on all Northern services on Sunday, November 12.
