PART of East Lancashire Road is closed this morning following reports of a crash.
The A580 East Lancashire Road Eastbound is closed from A58 Liverpool Road (Pewfall Traffic Lights) to M6 J23 (Haydock).
Traffic and travel tracker, INRIX, reports that the incident has been ongoing since 3.30am today (Thursday, November 2).
Congestion and queuing traffic to the A58 Liverpool Road through Haydock approaching M6 J24. Traffic is now being diverted.
Accident investigation work is currently taking place.
