IT may seem crazy to be talking about Christmas before we've even got Hallowe'en out of the way, but the dates for the Christmas Light Switch on have been confirmed by the council.
Every year towns and cities across the UK - and worldwide - celebrate the festive season with Christmas Light Switch on events and St Helens is no different.
This year the St Helens Christmas Light Switch on will take place on Saturday, November 25 in Church Square with an event taking place between 12.30pm and 6pm.
The switch on itself will happen at 5.30pm) Meanwhile Earlestown's CHristmas Light Switch on will take place on Saturday, December 2.
The event will take place between 1pm and 7pm with the actually switch on taking place at 6.30pm.
St Helens Council confirmed it will release more information about the events, and neighbourhood switch on events in the coming weeks.
