REMINISCE organisers celebrated another successful festival in St Helens after 20,000 music lovers descended on the town.
Launching in 2014 as a small nostalgic music festival, Reminisce has grown to cater for tens of thousands of fans with 150 acts across seven stages in Sherdley Park.
There have been a few controversies over the years, including long queues, security concerns, and WiFi issues in 2021, but for the most part, Reminisce has been a hugely popular event that celebrates old-school dance and pop music.
This seems to have been the case in 2023, with tens of thousands of festival-goers enjoying the music, entertainment, and sunshine without any major issues.

In what was a scorching day, thousands of fans enjoyed sets from John Martin (from Swedish House Mafia), The Vengaboys, Boyzlife, Fatman Scoop, as well as DJs like Lee Butler and Steve Cocky.
With countless performers across the festival's seven stages, there were also firebreathers and stilt-walkers around the site to create a feel-good atmosphere.
Police have confirmed that six arrests were made at the festival, with five arrested for drugs offences and one arrested for "assaulting a police constable".
However, officers did say that the "vast majority of people who attended act[ed] in a responsible manner allowing everyone to enjoy the event.”
Steve Cocky, Reminisce Festival event manager, said “We’re absolutely thrilled that so many people came to Reminisce this year and had such an amazing time.
"We’re so proud of what we do here each year, and we’re so thankful to the people of St Helen’s for allowing us to take over their park!
"I want to thank the local community for all of their patience and support. We couldn’t do it without you.”
Reminisce Festival & In Demand Radio will be releasing photos and videos from the day across social media over the coming weeks, with opportunities to re-watch and re-listen to many of the DJs and performances.
The festival site is expected to be completely deconstructed by Friday, September 15, while Reminisce Earlybird tickets for 2024 will be on sale soon.
