A WINNING EuroMillions Lottery ticket worth £1m which was bought in St Helens remains unclaimed six weeks after the draw was made.
The Star reported last month that a lucky winner from the EuroMillions draw on July 28, 2023 has still to check their ticket and claim their prize.
Players in the borough of St Helens are urged by the National Lottery to check and double-check their unique EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code for the chance to become an instant millionaire.
For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. The winning code on 28 July 2023 was MSJS 96560 and the lucky ticket-holder has until 24 January 2024 to claim their prize.
Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Camelot, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

A spokesperson for The National Lottery confirmed today that no claims for the winning ticket had yet been made.
When the Star asked for any further details about the location the ticket was bought in, they said this could not be disclosed.
The spokesperson explained this is due to the licence requirement the National Lottery operates under to protect the right of the ticket-holder as to whether they choose to take publicity or remain anonymous.
The area description released, namely "the borough of St Helens", is necessarily broad so as not to compromise this choice but narrow enough to encourage players to check their tickets in the area where the winning ticket was bought, they added.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a massive difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.
“Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk. Players can also buy and check tickets in retail. Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize. You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you're a winner."
