A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after a car crashed into her house and struck her.
A car is reported to have collided with the back of a house on Northfield Close, off Clock Face Road, at around 7.40am this morning (Friday, September 8).
A woman in her 50s, who was in the garden, was struck by the vehicle and has been taken to hospital with a head injury.
The male driver of the car has also been taken to hospital for assessment of his injuries.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service is also in attendance and a structural assessor will decide if the property is structurally sound and safe.
At around 8.45am, a second road traffic collision involving two other vehicles occurred on the same road, near to the original incident.
There have been no reported injuries in this collision.
A road closure remains in place along Clock Face Road which is affecting traffic in both directions, and also affecting Gorsey Lane and Tibbs Cross Lane.
Police are in the early stages of their investigation and are asking residents to contact the Force with any information they may have on the incident.
