FILM crews were spotted at Carr Mill Dam last week for a new Sky TV production named 'Robin and the Hood'.
A resident spotted the actors and production at the Dam on Tuesday, August 29, with set chairs showing that the name of the production is 'Robin and the Hood'.
Producers have remained tight-lipped about the project, although brief information about 'Robin and the Hood' can be found on director Phil Hawkins' LinkedIn page.

The Manchester-based director, who has worked on Christmas flick 'A Prancer Tale' for Universal Studios and the huge fan film 'Star Wars: Origins', is working for Sky Studios on the Robin Hood project.
On Hawkins' LinkedIn page, 'Robin and the Hood' is described as an upcoming "action and adventure family feature film".
The Sky film is the latest production to be filmed in the borough, with the second series of BBC drama 'Time' filming in June.
The former Pilks head office at Alexandra Business Park has also been used as a filming set for ITV hospital drama 'Maternal', as well as for 'Midas Man', an upcoming film about the life of Beatles manager Brain Epstein.
Film crews were also spotted around industrial land owned by Pilkington at Ravenhead, for Marvel's mini-series 'The Secret Invasion', starring Samuel L. Jackson, Emilia Clarke, and Olivia Colman.
Residents also spotted production crews around Taylor Park for the Martin Freeman starring, BAFTA-nominated crime drama 'The Responder'.
Further production teams were spotted on Birchley Street car park last year for the Paramount+ series 'Sexy Beast', as well as at the Dream in Sutton Manor for James Nesbitt starring Netflix drama 'Stay Close' in 2021.
In relation to 'Robin and the Hood', a spokesperson for the Liverpool Film Office said: "At the moment we cannot confirm any details about this production, but it is one of many projects currently filming in the Liverpool City Region at this current time.”
