EMERGENCY crews took one person to hospital last night after a "concern for safety incident" saw police called to St Helens Linkway.
A road closure was in place shortly after 11pm on Sunday, with police blocking off roads between Chalon Way West (Cineworld traffic lights) and St Helens Linkway at the Cannington Shaw Roundabout.
An emergency response, involving police and paramedics, could be seen.
Merseyside Police said the incident centred on the "concern for the safety of a female".
A police spokesperson said "patrols attended and she was taken to hospital".
