A MAN suffered a wound to his stomach after being stabbed in an alleyway, police say.
Detectives are appealing for information following the incident in Morley Street, St Helens on Saturday, August 26.
Shortly after 12.15pm officers received a report that a man in his 50s had been stabbed by two offenders in an alleyway on Morley Street.
The man was taken to hospital with a stab wound to his stomach and is now recovering at home from his injury.
A police statement added: "CCTV and house enquiries have been carried out in the area since the attack.
