A STAND-UP show in St Helens by the comedian Sarah Millican has been postponed, with a new date pencilled in.

Sarah was due to perform at St Helens Theatre Royal on Wednesday, September 27.

However, due to what the venue describes as "unforeseen circumstances" the date has been rearranged.

The show will now take place on Monday, October 2.

A message from the comedian's management, which was shared by the Theatre Royal, read: "We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience but Sarah looks forward to seeing everyone at the show on the new date."

The Theatre Royal said all ticket holders have been contacted via email.
