NEW food hygiene ratings have been given to ten food establishments across St Helens, ranging from scores of one to five.
From a score of zero to five, food hygiene ratings are given to food handling businesses after an inspection has assessed how well they comply with food safety laws.
The rating reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of the inspection by the local authority.

The Directors Lounge
The Directors Lounge, on Barrow Street in the town centre, was given a five-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on July 14.
The sports bar and grill's hygienic food handling and management of food safety were rated as "Very Good" in the inspection.
Inspectors also found that the cleanliness and condition of the building was "Very Good".
Newton Fish Bar
Newton Fish Bar, on Crown Street in Newton-le-Willows, was given a five-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on July 17.
The chippy's hygienic food handling and management of food safety were rated as "Good" in the inspection.
Inspectors also found that the cleanliness and condition of the building was "Good".
Kasper Eats
Kasper Eats, on Westfield Street in the town centre, was given a four-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on June 20.
The takeaway's hygienic food handling and management of food safety was rated as "Good" in the inspection.
Inspectors also found that the cleanliness and condition was "Generally satisfactory".
KungFu
KungFu, on Bridge Street in the town centre, was given a four-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on June 20.
The Chinese takeaway's management of food safety was rated as "Good" in the inspection, as was the cleanliness and condition of the building and facilities.
The business' hygienic food handling was rated as "Generally satisfactory".c
Denzel Kebab King
Denzel Kebab King, on Duke Street in the town centre, was given a four-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on June 20.
The takeaway's hygienic food handling and management of food safety was rated as "Good" in the inspection.
Inspectors also found that the cleanliness and condition was "Generally satisfactory".
The Dream Cafe
The Dream Cafe, on Jubits Lane in Sutton Manor, was given a three-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on June 20.
Inspectors found that the cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building was "Good" on its inspection.
The cafe's hygienic food handling and management of food safety was rated as "Generally satisfactory".
Angels Cafe
Angels Cafe, on Parr Stocks Road in Parr, was given a three-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on June 23.
The cafe's hygienic food handling and management of food safety was rated as "Generally satisfactory" in the inspection.
Inspectors found that the cleanliness and condition was also "Generally satisfactory".
Pronto Pizza
Pronto Pizza, on Junction Lane in Sutton, was given a three-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on June 15.
The takeaway's hygienic food handling and management of food safety was rated as "Generally satisfactory" in the inspection.
Inspectors found that the cleanliness and condition was also "Generally satisfactory".
Suttons Pizza & Kebab House
Suttons Pizza & Kebab House, on Peckers Hill Road in Sutton, was given a two-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on June 15.
The cleanliness and condition of the building and facilities were said to be needing improvements at the inspection.
Inspectors found that the business' management of food safety and its hygienic food handling was "Generally satisfactory".
Leo's Restaurant Bar and Grill
Leo's Restaurant Bar and Grill, on Branch Way in Haydock, was given a one-out-of-five food hygiene rating from its inspection on March 15.
Inspectors found that the business' management of food safety was in need of major improvements, while improvements were also necessary for its hygienic food handling.
The cleanliness and condition of the building and facilities were rated as "Generally Satisfactory".
