A MAN has been charged with a firearm offence following the stop and search of a car which led to police attending a St Helens address.
Officers stopped a car on Dunnings Bridge Road in Netherton on Wednesday afternoon, June 21, and following inquires a search was carried out a property in Sutton.

Carl Norman Donohue, of Kent Road, Sutton, St Helens has been charged with possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
Donohue, 36, appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court today, Friday, June 23.
He will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, July 21.
