A COMPANY in Newton-le-Willows has launched an innovation centre.
Renovotec, a technology solutions and services provider for organisations operating in warehousing, retail and throughout the supply chain, launched the 'industry first' multi-vendor innovation centre today, Tuesday June 20.
The Renovotec Innovation Centre (RIC) will be based at the company’s headquarters on Ashton Road.
Open to customers and visitors, the centre showcases Renovotec’s latest, most dynamic, and interactive solutions for organisations and features dedicated industry zones for manufacturing, warehousing, transport and logistics, healthcare and retail.
Discussing the centre launch, Richard Gilliard, managing director at Renovotec, said: “The Renovotec Innovation Centre is so much more than a demonstration space – it’s a tool for brainstorming, visualising and strategy planning.
“Customers can experience first-hand how our solutions can give real-time visibility into industry-specific business challenges.
“The RIC acts as a sector-wide business transformation hub to learn how to most effectively manage people and assets, improve efficiencies and profitability and revolutionise supply-chain business operations.”
An event was held today to officially launch the innovation centre, with manufacturing zone demos including robots showing off their skills for picking, fetching, and walking.
